First Nations Health Authority Interim Health Plan (Live Interactive Webinar)

Wordle

The First Nations Health Authority is pleased to announce a live UBC Learning Circle presentation on the Interim Health Plan.

When:  10:00 am- 11:30 am on April 3, 2013

Registration: *You can participate via video conference OR online via Adobe Connect (for computers)* Pre-registration is required to attend this event electronically.

In accordance with the BC Tripartite Framework Agreement on First Nations Health Governance and the Canada Funding Agreement, the FNHA is developing an Interim Health Plan (IHP). Once transfer is substantially complete, the IHP will be replaced by a Multi-Year Health Plan.  The first IHP is in development and will be completed by June 1, 2013. The IHP will guide the transition process as well as the operation of the FNHA and cooperation with its partners; reflect the overall strategic direction of the FNHA as well as FNHC and FNHDA; and serve as a communication tool. Given that the IHP shall reflect the phased transfer of federal health programs, it is anticipated that the level of detail and comprehensiveness of the IHP (and later, MYHP) will evolve over time.  Please join us via the UBC Learning Circle on April 3 to hear about the planning framework and provide your feedback to the process.

Join Richard Jock, Vice-President, Policy Planning and Strategic Services for this interactive presentation.

This session will be recorded and posted to www.fnha.ca following the presentation.
